Misc. Non-Auto Related Products
Print

Anything that doesn't really fit in one of the other product review categories. All of us purchase unique products to assist us in dealing with various issues in our life, many of which, of course, do not apply specifically to automobiles in any way. I'm not different, and I figured, if I'm going to be reviewing other products, I may as well review those as well.

So, check this area periodically to see reviews of unique products that aren't necessarily automotive related.

And, if you're interested in having me review some unique product that you've wanted to buy, but just can't bring yourself to spend the money, feel free to use the "Contact Us" form to request a product review. If enough people request a review of a particular product or the product is unique and seems to offer considerable value (IF it works), I'll consider reviewing it and putting my comments on the site.

Not an oil... but a permanently bonded polymer Xcelplus

Xcelplus is something else... once it has permanently bonded to the metal an engine can be run without oil... although running without oil is not recommended (oil protects engines from impact forces and removes heat... not just provides lubrication).

It's heat resistant, acid resistant, pressure resistant and bonds permanently.

It's the only comprehensively tested product of it's type (private, consumer and government testing).

The protection is there in case of catestrophic oil loss... but the rest of the time your oil lasts longer (less wear products and acids are formed) as does your engine. It has a low coefficient of friction so your engine runs more efficiently... and saves you fuel.

It's not an oil... so doesn't fit in any of the standard categories. This also makes it compatible with all known oil types.

Nice product... interesting pedigree.

Heavy Server Load

We've been having some heavy server load this afternoon and evening. If pages aren't loading, it's likely the result of the load. Things are tapering off now.
